About the Story

It is easy to look away when we see a fellow human in need… but not for Myles.  Myles is a guy like any other.  Very busy, very motivated, and in this case running very late.  when he sees a woman on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere, with a flat tire, he has no choice but to help.  Flat Tire is a story about breaking from the daily routine.  To not be a gear in the system, but to be a conscious, contributing member.  Flat Tire is about helping those in need. 

 

 

About the Process

Flat Tire was shot entirely in Wheatfield, Indiana.  We shot over 1 weekend, and enjoyed the comforts of staying in a hotel (in the middle of nowhere).  It was a wonderful experience.  Spirits remained high, and we all got lots of sun!  Not bad for a weekend with 60% chance of rain… The entire crew worked very well together, and the cast (Chad and Michelle) were terrific.  The crew was able to roll with the punches that were thrown their way, and we were able to successfully complete principle photography on schedule (tough for a shoot entirely outside).  Post production has been long and grueling, but as it comes to an end, I can only look back and think about all the hard work from all the people involved.  For that, I am very grateful!
