Ok – so self-funding the HD transfer of Flat Tire hasn't gotten me very far. I have now made my case to KickStarter. I made my request to post the project, and am now waiting to see if they will grant me a fundraising page. If so, I am hoping to use the KickStarter community to fund the remaining $1400 that it is going to take to finish Flat Tire. Moving forward… Full Steam Ahead!

So I have made a decision. Flat Tire will be transfered in HD! Full 1920×1080 Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2. This will cost me roughly $1500 to do properly. I have decided that before I show this film to general audiences, it needs to be seen in all of its glory. I am hoping to have the money saved up within the next month so that the transfer can happen in January. Once the transfer is compete, Flat Tire can be completed.

Only a few things left to do. The following are the only things that I still need to update before the site is officially launched!
1. Adjust ‘About’ page tables to match
2. Get Flickr images to show image descriptions
3. Adjust the overall design. The footer needs work.
4. Update text and note from director.
That should be it.

Hello! This is just a quick update to let you know that the site is nearing completion. There are several things still needed. Here is what my plan is:
1. Cut a trailer for Flat Tire and export it as an .flv.
2. Post the trailer to the site, and link to the trailer page.
3. Create a button for the trailer similar to Hermit’s home page.
4. Go through and solidify all text on the About page, and re-write the letter from the director.
5. Give the site a final, thurough, walkthrough where I fix any loose ends.
That’s it! Once that is compete, the site will be live and I will send links to everybody who was involved.

Hello and Welcome!
Flat Tire, the short film by Adam Salasek, has a new home! http://flattiremovie.com. I will be working on this site for a while. For now, please look around, enjoy the photos, and keep an eye out for the trailer which will be coming soon.
